Trauma Accreditation
Woodward is dedicated to creating a trauma-sensitive learning environment. We have expanded our efforts by embarking on a two-year journey to become a Starr Accredited Trauma Informed School. In doing so, the culture of Woodward has been further transformed into one where all staff are trained to view students through a trauma-informed, resilience-focused lens. A multi-faceted team of administrators, clinicians, and educators at Woodward have completed comprehensive training to become Certified Trauma Practitioners and Certified Trainers.

Clinical Team
Woodward’s Clinical Team is comprised of social workers, mental health counselors, school psychologists, and creative arts therapists. Clinicians have received extensive training in evidence-based treatments and use a full range of outcome-driven therapy interventions. Members of our clinical team have also completed comprehensive training to become Certified Trauma Practitioners (CTP-C). As Certified Trauma Practitioners, our clinicians are prepared and educated to view students through a trauma-informed, resilience-focused lens.
